Tail Trait
Damaged Tail (Modifier Trait)
Description:
A tail that is cut, burned, or torn etc. Can be applied to any kind of tail or tail mix.
Requirement:
- This is not a docked tail, it cannot be cropped close to the body.
- Any scarring must show the recessive blood colour (Scarring rules).
- Cannot be used to mimic "off-limit" traits. (Traits that either do not exist or you do not have the trait changing item for.)

Brush (Public)
Description:
A tail with fluffy fur growing along its entire length, comparable to a wolf or fox tail.
Requirement:
- Must be covered in fluffy fur along most of its length.
- Can be mixed with other Tail traits.
- Cannot be used to mimic "off-limit" traits. (Traits that either do not exist or you do not have the trait changing item for.)

Bulb (Public)
Description:
A typically round tail that can be made primarily of thick, plush fur, or have most of the mass be flesh. Typically seen with a tuft at the end.
Requirement:
- Must have a plush, rounded shape.
- Must have a small fleshy tail beneath the fur.

Bun (Public)
Description:
A small nubby tail, typically covered in fluff, similar to that of a rabbit or deer.
Requirement:
- Tail cannot be portrayed as docked or tailless. Tail must be visually distinct from the body.
- Can be mixed with other Tail traits.
- Cannot be used to mimic "off-limit" traits. (Traits that either do not exist or you do not have the trait changing item for.)

Curled (Public)
Description:
A typically thick tail that curls in on itself at rest like a chameleon tail or a pug tail. The curl can be tight or slightly loose, and can curl either up or down.
Requirement:
- Must be a muscular articulated tail.
- Tail must curl in on itself to some degree.

Curtain (Public)
Description:
A tail with long fur growing along the spine that drapes down along either side when the tail itself is long, or drapes straight down in a fan when the tail is small. This draping fur can appear opaque or translucent.
Requirement:
- Must have a muscular articulated tail beneath the fur.
- Fur must grow from the spine of the tail and drape down over the sides, or (in the case of short tails) fan down from the base.

Feline (Public)
Description:
A long, relatively thin tail of uniform thickness, typically rounded at the end.
Requirement:
- Must be uniform-thickness along its entire length.

Forked (Public)
Description:
A tail that splits into two somewhere along the length.
Requirement:
- Must be split and split can only occur in the last third of the tail’s length.
- One split per tail (split segments cannot split again).
- Split segments cannot rejoin into one.
- Vertebrae continue into both split segments.

Gecko Tail (Public)
Description:
A fatty tail similar to that of a leopard gecko. This tail is typically ribbed, and can drop off and regrow over time.
Requirement:
- Must be thick and bulbous in a way that limits the tail’s flexibility.

Paddle (Public)
Description:
A flat, broad tail with a paddle-like shape, similar to that of a beaver. These tails are relatively rigid, lacks a standard range of bend or motion.
Requirement:
- Fleshy and has a laterally flat shape.
- Can be furred or furless, does not have scales.
- Can have a rounded or more pointed tip, but by default has a flat oval shape.
- Cannot be so wide or thick that it encumbers the grem.
- Can be mixed with other Tail traits.
- Cannot be used to mimic "off-limit" traits. (Traits that either do not exist or you do not have the trait changing item for.)

Prehensile (Public)
Description:
A long tail with a gripping pad somewhere on the underside, typically only at the end. As the name implies, this tail is prehensile and able to wrap around and lift small objects with relative dexterity.
Requirement:
- Must have one gripping pad. No multiple segmented pads, only one continuous pad per tail.
- The pad must start near the tip of the tail but can otherwise follow its entire length.
- Gripping pad must be either the dominant or recessive blood color.
- In the case of multiple tails (or split tails), each individual pad must still be solidly colored with the dominant or recessive blood color.
- The pad needs to show visible ribbing or segments

Silk (Public)
Description:
Sports long, hanging fur/hair growing from a small tail, like a horse’s.
Requirement:
- Must have a small articulated tail beneath the fur.
- Must have long hair hanging down from the base of the tail.

Spade Tail (Public)
Description:
A typically long whip-like tail ending in a flattened spade-like tip.
Requirement:
- Must have a spade-like tip at the end of the tail, though the spade can take other simple shapes such as an arrowhead, diamond, heart, or star.
- Spade must be a flattened shape.
- Holes, notches or anything that could cause a malformed shape to the tail cannot occur naturally in the spade shapes.
- Scars are allowed but cannot cut into the tail to change it's shape.

Tailless (Public)
Description:
A complete absence of any and all tails on a grem.
Requirement:
- This trait will remove all tails on a grem.
- Cannot be combined with any other tail traits as this trait entirely removes the presence of all tails.
- Tail modifiers and traits that would affect the tail also cannot be combined with this trait as this trait would entirely remove the area that they are applicable to.
Thick (Public)
Description:
A large muscular tail that’s thicker at the base and tapers towards the tip. Typically very short furred.
Requirement:
- Must have a muscular articulated tail beneath the fur.
- Must be thick and relatively featureless.

Description:
A typically long, thin, tapering tail that ends in a tuft of fur.
Requirement:
- Must have a tuft of fur at the end.
