A piece of driftwood found beached on the shore! This one looked particularly interesting.
Salt Rock
Category: Foraging

Found in: Santopae Foraging
A piece of coral is growing from this Santopae salt rock! Maybe you could put this in a fish tank?
Golden Auklet
Category: Foraging
Reference Link: Acember, ToothlessEgo, Mamamii, Snappy
Found in: Santopae Foraging
An interestingly patterned Auklet found stranded in the tidepools. These fish are commonly seen schooling in the area, each with their own unique colors and patterns. They can grow to be as large as a human head, and the bumps on their face are used for impressing potential mates. This one is quite large!
Reef Crawler
Category: Foraging
Reference Link: Acember, ToothlessEgo, Mamamii, Snappy
Found in: Santopae Foraging
A reef Crawler that was caught slithering along the rocks. These critters are small and move incredibly slowly, so they aren't hard to catch, but due to their impressive mimicry they can be deceptively hard to spot! Reef crawlers are so well camouflaged that schools of tiny fish often mistake their faux coral for actual reefs, and take up residence among the branches. The crawler doesn't seem to mind the company however! He's just happy to be here.
Shriketooth Baum
Category: Foraging
Reference Link: Acember, ToothlessEgo, Mamamii, Snappy
Found in: Santopae Foraging
A small but voracious predator of the shallows found hiding between two rocks. Baums won't typically attack things outside of their normal prey range, but if you're a small fish, watch out! The Shriketooth Baum is particularly known for its ferocity and brutal hunting methods. Meals are skewered onto tiny branches of coral and saved for later. A variety of fishy corpses decorate their homes. Luckily, you aren't a tiny fish, so you have nothing to worry about, and this little guy is as sweet as can be!
Klongclaw Crab
Category: Foraging
Reference Link: Acember, ToothlessEgo, Mamamii, Snappy
Found in: Santopae Foraging
Some sort of sandy colored crustacean you found picking at the dirt! Its body's not very big.. but its left claw is massive. Probably used for defending its territory from would be challengers! Mostly they seem to meander slowly about the shallows.. but when startled, they can fling themselves quickly into the deep using their large arm as incredible leverage! Such silly little creatures.
Mantle Reef Hatchling
Category: Foraging
Reference Link: Acember, ToothlessEgo, Mamamii, Snappy
Found in: Santopae Foraging
A fresh, young hatchling of a Mantle Reef. These creatures spend years gliding gracefully through the open ocean, and have been known to reach recorded sizes of well over several hundred feet. They form a symbiotic relationship with the reefs of the sea and the animals that dwell within them, carrying a vibrant assembly of both upon their backs as they age. Despite their monstrous size, they are actually very peaceful creatures, feeding only by way of filtration, and bearing neither fang nor claw. It has been said that they can live for hundreds of years... This little one however, is barely more than a speck in the water. It would seem it still has plenty of growing to do, and many long years ahead of it.
