You have learned from your companion that the two of you are in what is known as a "Starfix Realm." This realm, it would seem, was created as a barrier to prevent the damage that surrounds you from wounding the whole of Palleth, but whatever force has been holding back this catastrophe seems to be waning fast. 
You've also been told of the ancient history that has all culminated to this very point, and it would seem that things are much more dire than you had at first thought. Lapsus' awakening must be stopped, but an ocean of shadowbeasts stands between you and the stirring god beneath. 

"I believe in this, I may be of some service." The lazulite grem beside you offers. 
"In order to confront our demons, we must first become like them."
"With a bit of luck, this should allow you to sneak past Lapsus' guard undetected. They will think you are one of them. That mistake will be their undoing."

And as they reach out their hand to you, a terrible pain pulls at your chest. Like the weight of a thousand worlds, and the sorrows of every last soul upon them. 

"What I give to you now is not a blessing, but a curse.. I hope that someday you will be able to forgive me." 

 

Objectives:

  • Draw or write about your grem experiencing a weregrem transformation.  How do they feel? what is their reaction? are they scared of their new form or do they embrace it? are they in control of their body or is it too much to handle? 
    • Please be sure to read and follow the Weregrem Guide information [here] when depicting your grem as a weregrem.
    • Please note, this prompt does not actually upgrade your grem into a weregrem. This is solely for the plot of the event, and to allow users a bit of fun and to brainstorm ideas as they progress through the storyline. In order to officially upgrade your grem you will need to use the [Shard of Lapsus] item gained by completing either Path A or Path B of the main event storyline.

Minimum Requirements:

 > Pieces submitted can either be Drawn (digital/traditional) or Written.

  • This prompt CAN be completed as gift art!
  • Including other grems is allowed for this prompt however a focus grem must still be present and meet the requirements listed below. (Maybe just your grem, no extras? Idk..LOL. Group weregrem affliction party?)
    • Please be sure you have permission from other owners before including their Grems in your entry! You can view characters open for gift art here.
    • Any grems present in your entry must have an up-to-date masterlist entry and all designs present in an entry must match with their current masterlist images. (Ex: If you have recently redesigned your grem, you will have to wait until the masterlist has updated with the new version before including it in an entry.)

  • Collabs are not allowed, the entire entry must be created solely by you!
  • Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Please do not submit works that are not your own.
    • Artwork cannot be traced or made using pre-existing templates/bases  (including memes.) (References towards memes are ok, but the piece should still be largely original content.)

Drawn pieces: 

  • Entries should be at minimum cleanly lined & coloured (Lineless work is allowed but must be cleanly portrayed.) 
  • A simple, minimal, or partial background is required for this prompt.
  • Your piece is NOT required to be shaded. 
  • Your main grem must be present in the image and at least 50% of their body should be clearly visible.
  • If your character is heavily obstructed/obscured (Whether by blurring, effects, clothing, or shading.) so much so that we cannot tell who/where they are or easily make out the detail in the piece, then your entry will be declined.

Written pieces:

  •  written entries must be at least 800 words, and primarily feature your main grem.
  • If submitting through a google doc entry, please be sure your link is set to “shareable” so that it can be opened and viewed by the prompt team.

  When submitting your entry, please be sure to fill out the "Characters" and "Rewards" section, as well as any forms needed in the "Comments" section. Submissions that fail to do this may be sent back to the user so that characters used and any reward choices they may have forgotten can be added. For more info on how to submit a prompt, see here!
