Aether is the eldest 'child' from a strong line of exorcists, raised to inherit the family work and responsibilities yet Aether wanted his younger relative to become the head in his stead as pressure and stress simply didn't mix well with the grem2.

It became too much for Aether to bare, the pressure made him crack and have a melt down before fleeing and finding himself at the edge of a cliff on the outside of town. 

The trembling grem sat on the edge of the cliff and looked out to the horizon of trees that stretched and surrounded the town that looked so small in the distance, that it could be mistaken as toys from his seating. It was here that Aether met Moirai.
