Val is as dry and sarcastic as they come; they always seem to have a wry comeback, and if looks could kill, they'd have a body-count. Their head is usually in their phone or their video games, and interrupting them is never advisable -- it's the quickest way onto their shitlist, which isn't where anyone wants to be. While already not very talkative, those Val doesn't like usually get nothing more than death-glares. 

Apparent apathy aside, Val does have a hidden softer side -- as most people like them do. While they'd never be the type to verbally admit any affection, they do often go out of their way to gift friends their favorite snacks, or drinks, or send them songs they think they'd like.
