Vindferthe the forest wanderer sometimes found his nomadic lifestyle a bit lonely, as he had no friends or companions moving along with him. Until today, when he saw a young pumpkimp watching him from under a pile of fallen leaves. He decided to keep walking, because he thought the pumpkimp was scared and hiding... until the little guy pounced onto his back, clinging onto his satchel strap and climbing up to Vindferthe's shoulder!

Vindferthe happened to be carrying a bundle of flowers he picked earlier, and decided to feed one to the pumpkimp. Before he knew it, the small creature was furiously devouring flower after flower!

Ever since then, Vindferthe has given that pumpkimp the name "Munch" and has had him tag along with him on his adventures.
